Chris Johnson View Contract Chiefs' Charles Is A Primer For Affordable

Chris Johnson RB Tennessee Titans finally reached an agreement to extend the contract, which pays back to $ 53.5 million in new capital and total between $ 55-56000000 over the next six years. The expansion includes $ 30 million in guaranteed money.

This makes RB Jamaal Charles trade signed with the Chiefs look like a bargain. (Of course, we must include the caveat that the contract numbers can be interpreted in many ways because of some funny language there.)

Charles signed a five-year, $ 32500000 extension last December that included $ 13 million guaranteed. Charles annual average would be about $ 5.4 million, while it looks like Johnson will be approximately $ 9.5 million per year.

Which deal is better?

Leaders have the better end of that, I think. Carlos is not at all and we got a cheaper price. I do not think we can say that Johnson is better than Carlos, who is best at everything.chris johnson
